I hate how we play off coverage on 4th and short situations. They did it all year and Berry and co. never learned. Why line up like 5-6 yards off when they only need 2/3 yards for example, I'll never understand that reasoning.

Seasons like this really make the losses to TB in 2021 and SF last year in the playoffs really sting more :(


Yeah, I agree. Way too many "wtf?" moments
I'm not even a super hard core know it all fan, but the 4th down coverage end of the game for example, I could not understand what they're thinking. 1 yard to end the year and that's the coverage they call. Incredible.

That combined with the Rasul fg penalty on a long one. Two absolutely BONE HEAD penalties that could've turned the tide our way had they been smart. Sad.


I think that penalty cost packers game—hard to say if lions still score there or not but that obviously made it much easier

Hard to say for sure. It certainly didn't help the team. Went from 3rd and whatever (5?) to 1st and goal.

Honestly just a microcosm of our season. Team repeatedly had a lot of mental mistakes/lapses that we didn't have the few years prior

100%. Felt like a really quick summary of all the frustrating losses this year. Gonna be an interesting off season.
