This..also all you scrawns thinking we didn't think Wilson was an option are retarded..refer to my post on page 140 or so where I clearly state that our options are Glenn, Martin, Massie, Wilson and Kendricks

All the hate just means Jerry Reese, Tom Coughlin & Co are doing their job.

Everyone is well aware at how well we draft and they know Wilson is going to be a problem.

He needs to wait for the play develop to develop and fix his fumbling but I'm not worried about that at all. He has measurables to some of the best RB's in the NFL... Jamaal Charles, Ray Rice, DeAngelo Williams, Tiki Barber, Sproles

If you want a comparison coming out, I actually think Jamaal Charles is a fair comparison.

Charles a much more accomplished receiver, but similar running style.

As with most "speed" backs coming out (like chris johnson too) these guys try to bounce everything outside.

Its going to take some good coaching to get Wilson comfortable running where the play is designed to run. Thats the major hurdle with him, fixing the fumbling thing is far less of a problem.

His measurables, skill set, scouting report, and 40 time are almost identical to ray rice.

No one is saying he WILL be as good as those guys but just watch the his highlights.... they scream talent. His balance is unbelievable and he rarely goes down first contact. He doesn't just run East to West he's not afraid to hit the hole and hit it hard.

ITT David Wilson can do backflips so he'll be as good as JC.

David Wilson sees himself as combo of Ray Rice and Arian Foster

"I think I'm a mix of Arian Foster and Ray Rice with the way he breaks tackles and Arian Foster sometimes makes something out of nothing and I'm always trying to get that extra yard when I'm on the field," Wilson said.

The stats proved he often tried and succeeded in getting those extra yards after he led the nation in yards after contact in 2011, his junior season.

Quote
"I never took a step back from when I first started playing football," he said. "It's always been excelling, excelling each year and getting better and better. I'm a student of the game and that's a good thing coming up there."

Quote
Known for his speed after doubling as a track star at Virginia Tech, concerns about Wilson, whom the Giants had ranked as the No. 2 running back on their board behind Trent Richardson, heading into the draft were ball security – he had seven fumbles last season -- and pass protection.

Quote
"I'm getting better and getting more physical," Wilson said when asked about pass protection. "I want to protect Eli [Manning]."

Quote
The Giants are "a special team and coming in and having an opportunity to contribute at some point during the season, whether it's right away or here and there, whenever I get my opportunity to do whatever I'm going to take it and try to make a name for myself."

“I’m sitting on my bed, and … I get the New Jersey call, and my hands sweating and I started screaming even before I answered the phone,” Wilson said. “My parents were like, ‘What’s going on?’ because they didn’t hear my phone because the ringer was so low. It was the best call I got in a long time.”
