Fair point. I'm not 100% sure on how the franchise tags work, but I'm sure if they could agree on a cap friendly deal they'd figure it out?

Tae has told the Packers he won't play under the franchise tag.

Not surprised, but I'm sure they'll get a deal done. That may mean we'll see some other guys released/not resigned though. His 20m tag still needs to be accounted for on the books and idk where the Packers currently stand after today's deals, but I feel like we are still over the cap lol.

I'm sure a Jaire extension will happen tonight/tomorrow. And maybe we'll find out the details of the Rodgers deal as well.

Kind of hoping they give Tae the 30mil and the Rodgers reported 200mil deal is now 170mil. Then to put the cherry on it, the news is released on Pat Mcafee Tuesday before the Wednesday deadline. That’d be the highlight of my off season If it came to fruition. Got a bit of a Chubb just thinking about it.
