Looked around, nothing really confirmed. Just heresay, but still.

I mean, it's relatively easy for them to make an HD remaster of a game like FF12, and FFX remake did incredibly well. Seems like a lock to happen eventually.

The original PS2 version had sooo much extra stuff to do. Spent a whole summer beating it 100% iirc. It was held back by the outdated Ps2 capabilities though. Like you/enemies could only cast 1 really good spell at a time because the graphics engine couldn't handle everyone casting spells at once.

Remastered games is the new thing to do for devs. Too much money returned on little investment for them to shy away from it. Judging by MCC and how quickly we forgave 343, I guess you don't even have to worry about if the game works on the new platform to make a killing.
