Oh, I didn't see that we did. Still, we have a void at safety and we don't have any super big needs with the #5 pick. Given how deep this draft is, I can totally see the administration wanting to get multiple picks in for some of the mid rounds, so a trade back still makes sense.

Burnett is 31, so he's definitely getting up there but not done yet. Still has a few more good years in him, and we have a lot of talent at the LB position already. Looking at a prospective depth chart, Nick Roach isn't even starting. Looks like Burnett, Kaluka Maiava, and Sio Moore. I don't really see the need at LB, but when you're talking about a dynamic defensive player like Mack, Clowney, Barr, etc, you can't really go wrong drafting them.

Djax a raider yet?

Nah Roach is definitely the starter. He was the only member of the defense last year to play every single snap of the season. He's cemented at middle LB

O I hope it happens. Would really open our draft options. Not that I would mind Watkins but if we can trade and get more picks out of this deep draft or even a future 1st round or 2 (if clowney drops to 5) would be fucking awesome. Not saying its gonna be another shit year but we ain't hitting playoffs for sure with our schedule. Get some good strong young talent and fucking become top contenders in a few years and stay there awhile.

All in all this fa started out bad losing valdheer Houston and Jennings but we r def making up for it somewhat for a change. Especially if we grab Djax.

Yeah we've made some good signings now. DJax would go a long way towards making our team competitive...maybe I'm just drinking the Kool Aid but I'm really starting to come around to the idea that we're becoming a good team. I mean, Seattle, SF, Arizona, SD, Kansas City, Denver, New England FML etc, but shit, we should be able to put forward a good showing in our other games and maybe take some off of SD/KC and even AZ...we're looking really solid.

Djax has bad attitude issues and if schaub could piss of Johnson we could be facing a very toxic situation with Djax lol. Hopefully we get him tho and schaub steps his play up

I would be worried about that too, but with guys that are vets and have won (woodson, tuck, woodley, jones, even reece, etc) I think they would be able to manage him.

For now let's just hope he ends up in silver and black
