No it isn't lmaooo.
Doesn't matter at the end of the day. Look at the difference in time of possession vs the Rams. Running the ball is critical regardless. Opens up the play action etc.
I'm sure defenders are sick of tackling Quadzilla late in the game. He always seems to fall forward and run over defenders
That post was old. Obviously I’ve seen the clarification on his toe. He literally called it covid toe probably not realizing that was an actual thing.
Our time of possession win was thanks to our defense, not our run game.

Establishing a run game makes it easier to set up the pass. We saw what the packers offense look like without a run game as you suggest and it didn't work out. 2010 pre and post James stark. To put it in perspective, we went on a historical run and came from the wildcard and won a superbowl. Before James stark we weren't even a playoff team.
And yes, I'm saying the only reason we won the superbowl is because of James starks. He was the key that unlocked the handcuff
11 carries in the superbowl. I'm sure he was a factor, but all I'm getting at is we don't always need the belief that the run opens up the passing game, when the same can be true vice versa.
When we stick the reverse sweeps and things, our running game seems to do better, or the options with Cobb type plays. Otherwise we just get stuffed. Would love to see our average running it on first and 10 last night, was probably a 1 yard average gain.
