I expected a close game today. On the road, Rodger's toe injury, still dealing with injury issues and Minnesota has been in one score games all year except one game I believe. A couple things I noticed from the game.
1. At first I thought Savage had a clean interception, the review changed my mind. He did secure the ball in the air but unfortunately he did not secure it going to the ground.
2. It seemed like on both of Jefferson's TDs that he pushed the defender to create space, the first one looked more egrigious than the second.
3. Rodgers played great, didn't seem like the toe bothered him until the end of the first half when he went into the locker room to get treatment. He then played a great second half.
4. Our defensive pressure looked pretty good, Clark was living in the backfield and we hit Cousins a lot either during or right after he released the ball.
5. Our kicking unit is in huge trouble. Before it was about the timing of the snap, then about the hold, now it's Crosby inside his own head. I don't trust making any fgs or extra points for the rest of the year. Not good.
6. Based on our coverage of this game Cooper Kupp is probably licking his chops. I don't feel good at all about playing the Rams next.
