updated look at our roster
qb:bradford
rb:richardson/pead
LT:Long
LG:(open)
Center:wells
RG:Dahl
RT:Saffold
WR:Austin/Givens/Bailey/Quick/Pettis
TE:Cook/Kendricks
DE:Long/Quinn/Hayes
DT:Brockers/Langford/Cudjo
MLB:Laurinaitis
OLB:Dunbar/Ogletree
CB:Finnegan/Jenkins/Johnson/(open)
safety:Mcdonald/(open)
so basically we have 3 spots left to fill imo. Safety, LG, and some CB depth
currently we have Stewart at safety (i think we will resign Mikell so we might be okay at safety)
then we have Rok Watkins probably at guard... below average at best I would like to see us use our 4th rounder on the best OL man available
and lastly we could use some depth at CB, i think our 4th cb is quinton pointer but i dont even know. worth finding someone with raw athletic ability that we can coach up in later rounds
and we could look for a big goal-line back in 6th or 7th, but im really not concerned with that at all because we have Ganaway who supposedly packs a punch
current position grades in my opinion
QB:B(would like to see him move into a top 10 qb this season with all of these weapons added)
OL:B+(I actually like our OL if we can find a guard with our next pick and stay healthy)
WR:C+ could move up to B+/A- by end of next season though
TE:B (not 100% sold on Cook's contract but Cook + Kendricks make a very decent TE tandem)
RB:C- (dont really care im a firm believer the scheme/line are what makes a rb successive rather than their actual skill so im happy with what we have)
DL:A+ (i think we have a top 5 DL in the NFL)
LB:B+ (Laurinaitis is close to a pro bowl pick every year, Dunbar is a solid starter, and Ogletree should be good)
CB:A- (Really like our top 3 CBs, only thing keeping us from an A or A+ is adding a 4th cb)
Safety:C(more like a B if we get mikell or D if we dont but whatever)
