Fucken Rackers bro. LOL. Hooked it right. It's halftime now. Saints just kneeled the ball.

Texans lead 24-14. A lot like the Jets game last week. They were leading 13-3 at halftime. 10-point lead at the half. Our starters out-played their starters. That's all you can ask for.

Second half. Backups are in. Not putting much stock the rest of the way. I hope the Texans hold on and win though. They nearly blew the game against the Jets. Guys like Brandon Harris, Roc Carmichael and Shiloh Keo will get their chance to make plays. I thought that Keo and Harris played poorly last week.

Matt Leinart looks like a deer in the headlights standing around in the pocket sometimes. Move around and use your mobility. What the hell is he doing? LOL, even Schaub can move and he isn't the fleetest of foot. I'm ready to see the rookie T.J. Yates out of North Carolina. That kid can at least run a bootleg properly,

I really like Brooks Reed. Between him and Connor Barwin the Texans have serious speed at the LOLB position. He was able to force a fumble but the Texans weren't able to do much with the ball. Should have just ran it down the Saints throat. Leinart is throwing too many incompletions.

Neil Rackers makes the Field Goal from about 40 yards. At least he didn't hook that one.

27-14 Texans.

Brice McCain picks off Chase Daniel. Turnovers have helped the Texans defense tonight. That makes it three for the game.

That's it. Nobody scored in the 4th quarter. Pretty quiet second half. Texans had a field goal and that was it.

Texans 27, Saints 14 - Final

The Texans had 208 rushing yards in the game. Arian Foster, Ben Tate and Chris Ogbonnaya all ran the ball well. The Texans defense played really well. Their pass rush was solid all game long. Only made a couple of mistakes in pass coverage. Only two pre-season games left for Houston. They play the 49ers on the road Saturday, and then the Vikings on the road the following Thursday.

I'm ready for the first regular-season game when the Texans host the Colts on September 11. It's going to be a fun year for the Texans. They finally got a defensive coordinator who knows what he is doing. They wasted so many years with Frank Bush, Richard Smith and Vic Fangio. I still don't understand why they took so damn long to spend money on a proven Defensive Coordinator!!!!!

Peyton isn't even going to play at all in the pre-season. He thinks he can play versus the Texans Week 1 but it's still a lot of talk right now. About 6 hours before Manning spoke, team owner Jim Irsay used his Twitter account to acknowledge there is a possibility the Colts will start the season without their No. 1 quarterback.

I'm eager to see just how good a rusty Peyton Manning is that first game against a much improved Texans Defense.

If Peyton plays, Texans should be -3.5 on the official spread. If he doesn't, they should be -14.5
