Posting this less for the attention to the whole cap ordeal, and more because JJ is saying that he intends to keep Jenkins in our secondary. I don't know how he would be in the slot, but I'd like to see Carr and Claiborne on the outside with Jenkins in the slot and Scandrick as our #4. There is no way Jenkins is worse than Scandrick in any sort of coverage, or covering any type of receiver.

I don't think jenkins is fast or agile enough to cover welker/harvin/torrie smith etc in the slot


But would much rather have jnkins on calvin johnson on the outside than scandric on calvin on the outside


you really can't have too many cover corners....

we have 3 corners that can all be the #1 on the team haha

jenkins was our #1 last year, carr and claiborne are way better than him.... our secondary became exponentially better

VERY true. God, if Jenkins returns to his rookie form

Imagine how many more sacks Dware could rack up if our secondary becomes a strong point and allows for coverage sacks.

i think the guys who benefit from coverage are OTHER guys. without good coverage, all the passes are out quite quick and dware is one of our few defenders that can beat his man in that short of time and get the sack


with increased coverage, the QB will be holding the ball and that extra second will be enough for a guy like spencer or a DT to get his hands on the passer

I wonder if our linebackers will be wanting to be great in run support...

when your personnel is suited all around for 1 te 1 fb... why would you try and force the issue if the personnel can't match up?

all bennett did well was lock up a defensive end and catch 1/10 balls thrown at him.

i would MUCH prefer jerry dropping $ for an aaron hernandez type. apparently he is great playing the F and obviously a dominant receiving option from anywhere on the field
