Heard Sherrod got his ass whooped by Matthews which is great so he will learn. Hoping he doesn't keep getting burnt though!

I'm going to Camp on Wednesday and Thursday so I'll get a first hand look at them :) I'll give you guys an update of what I see what how I agree or disagree with the updates and what to look for if I see anything out of the ordinary.

Can't wait, so excited :D

Early morning things I caught before I leave for work -

Crabtree supposedly made some big plays in all practices so far. Could end up being a solid role player behind Finley this season.

Everybody is agreeing Lang looked excellent in the full pad practice last night. Might not have lost a 1v1.

Green seems to be impressing people with his speed thus far in the practices.

Everything I see is still focused mainly on Cobb's performance last night. The consensus seems to be that he's just got a natural gift for football, really shining both talent wise and knowledge wise. Heard a few different people say that they feel if he can display the speed, he'll truly be something special.

McCarthy announces team will not practice next Friday (the 12th) and instead just travel to the White House. Game with the Browns (I believe) on the 13th.

Lot of people upset that the guys no longer with the team are not being invited. TT says there's just no logical way to make it happen. Doubt that their teams would excuse them from practice for it anyway.

DE Lawrence Guy ended up with a concussion tonight. Out for practice tomorrow. Waiting for an update on the actual timeframe for his return.

McCarthy says Family Night will function the same as usual, but there will be no live tackling, as the team hasn't had enough time in full pads yet and it's a safety concern/risk management.

Shields reportedly seen with ice on his thigh and a minor limp. "I think he ripped his pants." Apparently suffered the injury in a 1v1 against Nelson, when Jordy made a diving catch.

Zombo ran most of the reps with the first team defense today.

2nd O ran a 2 minute drill to close practice, ended with Flynn being sacked.

Cobb looked good again, other than bobbling and dropping one punt. Hopefully he can at least step into that role so Tramon doesn't have to.

Anything else happen tonight?

Was at camp today: Update to what you just said. The offense looked slow and the quarterbacks looked like shit in all honesty. Just were off targets, defense is way ahead of the offense. Although there isn't as many new defensive guys as there are offensive which might be part of the problem and why the offense looks off track.

Also Nelson made an awesome catch but happened shields went up and they came down and Nelson landed on shields and he was instantly down. Hopefully just a little bruise!

Finley just a boss today, he doesn't drop anything and snagged about anything that came his way.

I have to say I'm currently rooting for Shaky Smithson, he looks really natural and had great hands tonight. Caught a nice over the head pass from Rodgers and even had what seemed to be a 2nd gear where he had to take off and go faster to catch the ball. Keep your eye on this guy.. I really am rooting for him.

Rookie Ryan Taylor just didn't look to natural out there tonight, also watching him tomorrow but I'm not an expert. He looked okay but has room to improve for sure.

DJ Williams looked not to bad, he however seems to look for the ball almost too soon. Timing not on just yet but once he gets that... oh boy watch out!

Shaky is a guy I'm hearing good things about, but Finley and Cobb seemingly have stolen the show as far as that area of practices goes.
