D Hop isn't going anywhere, a new coach is gonna' think they can contend with better coaching. They're not an awful roster, Kliff just sucks and honestly I doubt Murray is it, but he obviously has abilities you can build around.

I think we're going to have to throw a lot of draft capital at the position, and I don't know if EDC is willing to do that.

All that of course depends on retaining Lamar, and losing him is more likely than it's ever been IMO. The Jets or Colts or somebody will be willing to throw him a boatload of guaranteed money. If that happens we probably just concede our offense is gonna' suck and draft BPA like we always do.

Honestly the only way I see us coming out of this ok at receiver is if Bateman can stay healthy next year. I believe he can be a #1, but he just hasn't stayed healthy at all.

Duv is a good #3, we just need one or two other competent guys. If Bateman can't stay healthy I don't think we have (or will allocate) the draft capital to have a good receiving corps. Again, all assuming we keep Lamar.

Bateman will be coming off a lis franc injury, which you can play on after 1 year, but you're not back to normal until after 2.

Also not convinced Bateman can be that guy anyway.

I actually love Bateman's skill set, but you're right about the Lisfranc. I was super bummed when I heard that's what he had.

Have you done any research on this years receiver class? Would be pretty nice if it was loaded to offset the FA class.
