Jordan Love and Stokes are reaches that belong in the mid-late 2nd round. When it comes to CBs the Packers overrate RAS rating

I'm not against Love being a 1st round pick because the 5th year is nice for a QB to get that extra year to look at them and especially for a guy like Love is certainly a project. But I don't believe the Packers needed him because they were 1 game away from the superbowl that year, with a clear need for a real No.2 WR next to Adams. And they still need that.

And for Stokes I definitely felt like they could of moved back a little and got him.

Honestly I think they should of done whatever Rodgers wanted with that pick because if they don't have Rodgers this team doesn't even make the playoffs.

I feel like Patrick Queen was a no brainer that even an arm chair fan could have made, and he filled a huge need.

Ya that would of been nice for sure looking back at it. That's actually who I wanted when I saw them trade up and would of been happy with Tee Higgins as well.

after that atrocious tackling against the 49ers, its honestly pretty irritating as a fan to see them trade an extra pick for a fucking project QB when a blue chip MLB is there, so I'd imagine Rodgers would be even more annoyed

All they've done is treat him like shit in GB, he's carried that team even in his "down years". They are lucky it's taken him this long to get pissed off and ask for his way out. He deserves better than he's been treated and he's had enough. I don't blame him at all. I don't want him to leave at all but if the FO is gonna play hardball and be morons I'll understand him demanding his way out.

The FO needs to put their massive egos aside and repair the relationship. I don't know what it will take but they need to stop trying to control Rodgers. That's a main reason why I think they drafted Love was to show Rodgers they run the team because they were afraid of him butting heads with LaFleur because he's smarter than LaFleur and everyone knows that. He ran McCarthy out but McCarthy was an absolute dipshit.

He's got 3-5 years of good football left and I don't wanna see them played in another jersey.

I would of called him before the draft and asked him about what what prospects he would be interested in because he wanted Jefferson last year and he turned out to be a stud already so he knows what he's looking at.
They should also get Love off of the roster because it's just been a ticking time bomb the moment they drafted him, none of this would be happening if Tim Boyle was the only other QB on the roster.
Also extend him so he has at least 2 years of guarantees left in GB instead of being a lame duck QB.

Stop messing with the guy and try to win a superbowl while you have possibly the greatest QB talent so far.

For what was left at the time it seemed like a good move to trade up and get him. I just don't know if it was too little too late, they could of had other guys in the draft earlier that would be better if healthy like Rondale Moore. Really the only thing that matters right now is if #12 is back or not. If Rodgers isn't back this team is sub .500 next 2-3 years minimum. The 2nd round pick for Myers might not be bad if he's able to start right away (they hit a homerun in the 2nd rounder 2 years ago with another OL with Jenkins), which they are probably assuming but there is no way Rodgers is happy about Stokes being picked in the first round. Stokes likely isn't going to play a big role on defense next year unless there is an injury. He'll likely be CB3.

If they could land Jabril Cox from LSU, that would be a good get in my opinion. He's fallen a bit and they could use help at ILB. They'd likely have to toss in a pick from next year to move up because I don't think they have the capital left in this years draft to move up far enough to get him.
