The number of people telling me that it's a good decision to leave PvP out so they can make fun loot is ridiculous. Remember how Gally and Icebreaker had to be nerfed because they were so OP in PvP? Oh wait no it's just that Bungie's shitty decision making has actually convinced people there can't be balance between PvM and PvP.
