Luck is a once in a decade type player. The last QB who came out as polished as him was Peyton Manning.

The only question about Winston was his off field maturity. The guy is very football smart. I'd rank him just under Bridgewater as far as NFL ready goes, coming out of College. Partially because Winston has the off field issues and Bridgewater was as clean of a prospect as you could get. Bridgewater also ran most of that Offense while in College.

I loved Bridgewater throughout the whole season/draft process and would have took him #3 all day. He was a steal for the Vikings and will be a long term QB in the NFL without question. I see Winston as a very similar player. He doesn't have the strongest arm and isn't the fastest, but he's bigger than Teddy Ballgame is and Winston should do perfectly fine in the NFL from day 1.

Mariota might be able to hang in the NFL, but it's going to take a few years for him to develop. I don't see many coaching staffs being afforded the time to let Mariota, or any QB for that matter, to sit and/or learn through 3 years of hard times without being fired.

I think Jameis is going to be great, he might be a bonehead but I think he will mature.
Mike Evans only helps his development, I think he could have a productive rookie season.

I disagree the only question is his maturity, he is a prospect, there's always the question of how he'll transition to the pro game and whether he'll succeed in Tampa Bay, specifically. Could be a huge bust, could be a huge success, you never know.

I'm always the optimist when sports and my teams are involved so I feel like he'll succeed. They need a few more people on offense, in my opinion, but throwing to Evans and Jackson isn't the worse thing ever. Just need depth. Very interested in their preseason games to see what they've got going on at WR/TE.

I agree with Hako I dunno how but it seemed like most were in favor of Winston either way I would have been happy for the qb as its what they needed.

As for the offense i think its really just the offensive line that comes into play with whether the offense succeeds or not. they got some nice pieces in the draft so hopefully they pan out. they still are not set at O line but definitely got a bit better. To me they should have at least grabbed someone in FA to help even if it was a back up.

All in all I believe the bucs have the pieces on offense, sure they could probably use a RB but I think they will do just fine with Martin and whoever else. Its going to come down to the O line which will be the deciding factor another thing that definitely should help is Dirk Koetter as our O coordinator he seemed to do well in Atlanta so hopefully he brings some of that to Tampa.

I still am not convinced our starting OL is on our roster at, I think we will sign more people who get cut and get a gem or 2.

Cmon now, we all know this happens every year - another man's trash treasure etc etc

Maybe I'm just optimistic, but I'm feeling positive about this team. Terrified of training camp given what happened to that defensive end today, vic beasley?

How did I not know that Clayborn signed with Atlanta? Well fuck me.

If he goes off and wins comeback player or is a Pro Bowler I'm gonna be so pissed...

EDIT -- It's only a year, so I could live with a big season since the Falcons likely wouldn't keep him or if they did they'd have to give him a lot I imagine.
