True. If we keep him, we would get a third round compensatory pick after he leaves in FA. That option is always on the table.

There is a 0% chance we trade Orlando for a 3rd. If we keep him we get 1 year of pro bowl tackle play + a 3rd round compensatory pick next year ... would make no sense.

It would need to be a 1st or a 2nd +3rd/4th

But it's beside the point. Orlando Brown is a very good young tackle, can play both RT and LT at an elite level, and you're crazy if you think they trade him for less than a 1st, or maybe a 2nd + something

I mean the Dolphins traded Laremy Tunsil for 2 1sts AND a 2nd - same exact situation as Orlando (1 cheap year left on rookie deal). Granted that was Bill O'Brien getting trade-raped, but you have to figure the Ravens would get at least half that haul

One horrible trade doesn't justify another.

Brown is graded as the 25th best tackle by PFF and this was by far his best season.
