Welp, we entered the season not knowing if Lamar would even be a capable starter in the NFL. He played at an MVP level and answered that question. Haters are going to kick us while we're down (probably because we've brutalized their team in the past or because they're jealous of our talent), but the future is bright here in Baltimore. We've got a lot of young talent just starting to emerge.

Main things to address going forward:

FAs worth considering re-signing: Judon, Pierce, Jimmy Smith, McPhee, Levine, Skura

Upcoming FAs to consider extending early: Stanley, Humphrey, Chuck Clark

Needs in draft/FA: ILB, rush-LB, 5-tech, DT (if Pierce leaves), C (maybe re-sign Skura or trust in Mekari's development), interior OL (depth/developmental)

good team no question, just a bad game. terrible game. worst I've seen a good team play in along time

Tbh, I think Pierce is out of range in terms of extending his stay in stay in Baltimore with Williams already here, and the contract he’ll most likely demand.

I hope we get an early extension in for Stanley, extend Judon, and find a short term team friendly deal with Jimmy.
Also hope we find a deal for Skura, as I’d prefer to only have to actively replace Yanda (assuming he’ll retire).

Strong possession WR, new RG, rush LB, ILB, DE/DT hybrid with the ability to create inside pressure should be our primary targets.

Yeah, Pierce is probably gone, but I threw him on there for the sake of completeness.

Jimmy is a curious one. He's good when healthy, but he's going to miss like 4+ games every season. Wonder what his market value is.

Skura seems primed for a one year deal imo, but who knows.

I think Skura is the kinda player you can sign to a 2-3 year deal, if you pay him slightly above what you'd give him on a 1 year prove-it deal.

At $45m projected capspace + potentially another $17-20m if Tony Jefferson is cut ($7m), Yanda retire ($7m) and Stanley extends ($3-6m), I'd actually love to see Eric make a splash in free agency.
Perhaps going for someone like Arik Armstead, AJ Green, Yannick Ngakoue, Jadeveon Clowney could make sense.

Otherwise they'd be wise to spend big on some sensible areas, like going for guys like Brandon Scherff, Joe Thuney.
