I think Vic and Clay can get it done. Hoping the D turns a corner sometime soon. This D is just as likely to make a huge game changing play as they are too blowing an assignment for an easy TD or bone headed penalty on 3rd down. Young guys looking good though some I'm optimistic and enjoying their growth.

On O just hope Julio can stay healthy and that we can run the ball.

On if this team makes the playoffs:

You'd assume the most likely scenario at this point is a first or second round exit. I think we will win the division and at least get a home game for the first round. But if we lose to Tampa on the road (like we already lost to them at home), then we will only be half a game in 1st, with a game against Philly before the bye. Things could still go very wrong, especially with how bad we are on defense.

The pass rush is getting better, but we've given up more points than any team in the league other than the Browns (some teams have only played 7 games so we're 29th in points per game). For goodness sake, we played a Packers team that was playing without a real running back or one of their best receivers...or their best three corner backs...and we still almost lost. So far our defense has give up:

31 to Tampa at home

28 to Oakland

32 to New Orleans

33 to Carolina

16 to Denver (playing backup QB)

26 to Seattle

33 to San Diego at home

and 32 to a depleted Green Bay team.



About 29 points per game. Consistently. I could just as easily see the team going winless from here out as undefeated. Both seem totally possible to me. We have wins against Denver and Oakland, both 6-2. Should have beat Seattle (4-2-1). And we have losses to losing teams like Tampa and San Diego (both at home). Anything is possible. Most games will come down to who scores last. And I think that will be true if we make the playoffs as well. Nobody can stop us. We can stop no one.

Was a fun one to watch... my bday tonight and that was a perfect early bday gift.

Saints. vs Rams, vs Lions, @ Zona, and 3 division games

Aints have a shot over anyone to overtake us.
