Yea I'll be watching the entire series starting mid May before the series starts back up again B)

As far as the books go, I started reading the first book and it's very similar to the show. I'm going to wait until it is done to read the books as a whole.

It starts out real close but soon it diverges. Some characters (olly for example) arent in the book at all. Many book characters dont make it into the show. Stuff like that. By the 4th season Ive heard they are almost 2 different stories for many of the characters

I've never enjoyed reading, still don't but the books are really good. Just keep them next to the shitter and leave your phone outside the bathroom. Only problem is when your legs fall asleep or you've been sitting on the toilet for a few hours.
