I was looking at that last night actually lol. Lotta key players up soon and in the near future (gotta lock up Jaire). Gonna be an interesting offseason for the FO.

King is probably the biggest enigma. I know teams mostly shy away from throwing toward Jaire, but King is like the MVS of the defense the last couple seasons: either he gets absolutely destroyed or he makes a big play. I honestly can't tell you if I love him or hate him. But I'll never forget every time I see TJ Watt have a great game or even a single huge play that we have Kevin instead

King's biggest downfall is his inability to stay healthy.. and also string together consistent performances alas MVS lul. He's a good corner when playing though, just not elite by any means.

I think the Packers let him hit the open market. I don't know how many suitors there will be because of the cap situation around the league but we shall see.

Bad time for the cap to potentially go down for the first time in 5 years when you have 27 players ready to hit the market. It's so easy to move money around and re-structure deals so I'm not super worried about it. Just a lot of talent that I would like to see remain on the team. I would be okay with King leaving. We have enough emerging talent to fill the role. We made it to the fucking NFCCG with Goodson and Gunter ffs

Yeah they could always tag him. I wouldn’t be surprised to see that actually. Does that come with a hefty price tag tho?

It's the average of the top 5 players at the position. So ya they pay him a good amount. But they'd likely have to pay him in that range anyways and they can stop teams from bidding on him depending on the tag.

So not really any downside if they tag him. Jones will be upset and understandably so but its business. And they still have a window to workout a long term deal with him if tagged but I doubt they want multiple years tied to a RB at probably somewhere in the range of 10m

There are ways they can open up more cap space and try to keep what they have with Linsley and Jones. Those are the 2 I want them to resign.

I wouldn't mind an extension for Alexander before he likely gets more expensive as he might be the best corner in the NFL right now and is for sure top 5 and would be looking at 20m+/year if he gets to FA in the coming years without an extension prior. Idk if they would work on an extension or not but it's not a bad idea to consider it.

From Preston Smith's production this year, it would not be a surprise to let him go.
The same can be said for Kirksey.

Let King walk

Resign Tonyan

Let Jamaal Williams go because he can get more money else where and find a bigger role. Also it makes no sense drafting Dillon in the 2nd round and just letting him sit 3rd on the depth chart.

If the price is right, Lane Taylor can be brought back, he's versatile.

Pay Tim Boyle whatever it takes to keep him and let Rodgers go.

Why because he said to move on from Rodgers the year after he wins MVP and his dead cap # is 31.5 million?

Also Rodgers literally has an out after 2021 with half the dead cap to eat. Idk where that came from tbh

E/ ah. You said 1337 and literally meant 1337

Saw a report that the cap drop isn't going to be as big as expected because the NFLPA and owners are working on spreading the loss revenue over the course of the next few seasons, so instead of 1 big dropoff think they are planning to spread it across multiple seasons so it isn't a big hit
