That shouldn't matter though because signing bonus basically just means that money is given to the player immediately but it doesn't affect the overall amount of the contract. The cap hit is just spread out evenly over the length of the contract.

I always think we'll get a Brady paycut type player but you underestimate how much these dudes feel the need to cash in. I think with Bakhs deal finally done, they can start the talks with Jones.
