I've had a ton of fun both times we played it. I think we've already ended up putting 7 hours into it this weekend which was more than I was anticipating but I lost track of time. As long as there's a group that wants to play it, I'll buy it.

Yeah I didn't realize till we were playing on Friday that it wasn't all weekend.

You buying it? I might do GamePass when it comes out. Between this if people play and H6 I think it's worth it for me.

Was pretty gay. Today ended up being the only day I had where I would have been able to play. Oh well. Glad you guys had a blast with it though.

It sounded like a grindy game from how you guys described it. Is it going to be a game where if I miss a weekend of playing I'm going to be behind and useless? I'll check out some gameplay videos/reviews when I get a chance tonight. I told my kid the next game I'd buy when I had some cash was Mario Odyssey though, don't really wanna buy a game for myself before getting him that one either.

Not at all. There's Hideouts and ranks to grind but that's not necessary to gameplay. We spent 4 hours yesterday accomplishing nothing significant other than taking down the fort, but it was still fun the entire time. The weapon and ship upgrades are 100% cosmetic.

Interesting. Will consider it. No promises, and it kinda depends on how much I end up getting on my tax returns. I'm not going to lie, this fucking student life is killing me. This is the brokest I've been since I was doing drugs lol, and it fucking sucks.

My only beef is that it seams like everything is done just for cosmetic upgrades. And we did a Skelton island raid and it was fun and pretty damn hard, just not sure how many times that would be fun. There’s a kraken too you can fight and tons of secret islands to find, but like I stated how many times will that be fun?

The pvp is Damn hard, especially the ship fighting. And the big ships take 4 people at all times controlling everything which I thought was cool.

There's personal Hideouts to earn and build up, with Legendary Hideouts being the top ones and supposedly difficult to earn. But there's not much more to the game than what the Beta had. It is what you make of it. That said though, I think with a group it's easily 100+ hours of playtime as well as one of those things you end up going back to once every few months to mess around on. For me that's worth the price of admission.
