I’m watching the replay and it was tied 10up in the 3rd, Browns molly wopped Baltimore in the 2nd half

The Ingram fumble changed everything. We were well within control at that point. Then we got it to within 6, but the defense let up an 84-yard (?) run immediately on the first play. Defense killed us; mistakes by the skill position players killed us (Ingram, Andrews, especially Moore's oob non-catch).

December will be a whole new world in the NFL

Interesting to see bridgewater and Jackson at opposite ends while being drafted at the same exact spot

Pretty much everyone at the top has some mobility too. I think that really helps on 3rd down. They can just as easily run for it if no one's open, so they don't have to force a bad throw unlike those at the bottom (excluding Murray)

I still have hope he can be good as a DPR, since he flashed a bit his first couple years before getting injured and benched.

But realistically he's useless. He's too lightweight to hold up against the run, bites on fakes/jukes/read-option plays, doesn't know his responsibilities on plays, and seemed to stop developing as a pass-rusher. He came into the league with good speed and a bull-rush, but he never developed any moves beyond that.

The Ravens are desperately in need of more pass-rushers beyond Judon, so if he was even the least bit good we'd have kept him. Has 2 sacks in 3 years, iirc.

I'd say you guys are doing pretty well with their pass rush so far, but maybe playing two games against the Cardinals and Dolphins skewed some things?

Wink Martindale, our DC, is among the best as scheming pressure with blitzes. However, we're short on actual pass-rushers who win one on one. We blitz a lot to get that pressure.

Our 4-man front is just alright, and it's going to decline as the year goes on because McPhee is being overused. Can't expect a veteran like him to play 50 snaps a game and hold up, especially with his injury history. Other than McPhee, we have Matthew Judon, and that's about it. No good interior pass rushers.

It was discussed in this thread actually: https://old.reddit.com/r/ravens/comments/d974p8/ravens_have_the_quickest_pass_rush_in_the_league/

Also we're going to decline as we play better opponents. That's just a fact. Also our defense keeps suffering injuries, so another point of decline. Blown coverages like crazy, idk if it can even be fixed at this point.
