I'm 235 on 3 chars and I'm waiting for prestige eow because there's nothing left for me to do.

I love destiny, it's my favorite game. But playing destiny to the extent that I (we) do requires a significant commitment of a lot of time and energy, and I'm just not willing to be dead fucking tired at work all week for the current state of the game. I played the expansion aside from the raid lair, and I'll play DLC 2 as well, but I really don't think the game is going to change much between now and D2's TTK in the fall.

There's not much worth grinding. Similar to Osiris, Saint-14 was handled pretty poorly and was a disappointing wrap up to what was a deep, interesting character in the Grimoire.


The Lair is worth doing a few times though. I honestly think it's top 3, if not >WotM.

I'm a PvP guy, so some new game types and maps would be cool. Like I'd chop off my left nut for a doubles playlist like bungie had in halo.

Also, stop giving me 5.0 KD stacked teams that spoon each other st night and have never seen a tit in their life whenever I get close to a fucking flawless. No joke.

I like the PvP. It's much closer to Halo than D1 was, so I can always hop in and have fun with it. But there's a list of things that stop me from playing it constantly.

-No party size balancing.
-Lack of ranked play (I know it's coming)
-Radar size rewards sitting in a corner together
-Not letting me choose playlists, and really only having 4 gamemodes
-P2P, and a poorly done system at that - it's 2018 I shouldn't be reliably able to shoot a corner and get a kill a full second after somebody gets around it

Most of all though it's the maps. They're all just big open spaces with nothing special about them. No map in Destiny 1 or 2 is a great FPS map. Hell, I struggle to remember most of them by name. Every Halo game had at least a few maps that you loved to play. That feeling is long gone from Destiny.

I agree more or less. The maps are very meh. I remember halo maps having a lot of cool places to stand and what not. All that fun stuff is removed from games now it seems.
