So it sounds like you guys offered a 1st, a 2nd and TE Hayden Hurst for Ramsey.

Yeah, I also heard that.

I would rather keep the picks tbh. But I get it: we're going to have tons of cap space, so signing Ramsey would be very doable. Gotta go all-in while your QB is on his rookie contract.

Would have been a steal for you guys and an awful trade for us imo. I'm glad we didn't take that.

If you guys keep going like you have these first couple weeks, it'd mean those picks would be towards the back end of both the 1st and 2nd round. Terrible value for a player like Ramsey.

Hurst might be stuck behind Mandrews, but I still think he's a decent TE. I wouldn't overlook him completely. Fractured foot ruined his first season, but he's decent. His ability to block and catch really helps our offense in ways that don't show up in the stat sheet, since we're just as deadly passing or running out of the same formation.

But he's definitely not worth the 1st we used to pick him. Kind of knew that when we drafted him though.
