335. They seem to have pushed things so that you really only level through Milestones/Raid/Exotics unless one piece is super far behind.

I played through the story and did one or two milestones which put me at like 318. Hopped into Crucible for a bit with a streamer who hit like 329 in 9 hours. YMMV

Lol, nice. When does the raid hit? If you can't tell, I'm sort of debating jumping back on the grind now that I've got some free-time. Part of it depends on how hard people want to go on Cod with ranked/GBs, but if that's fairly dead, I could see myself playing Destiny a bunch.

No announcement yet. FWIW Ranked Destiny play is coming early next year. Gonna be grinding that myself.

I keep checking in on Reddit hoping it'll be the day that all the people who don't like the game have left and every day I'm disappointed.

At what point do you realize that the game just isn't for you and it's okay to move on? Not surprising though, Reddit is usually a saltmine and I don't think 95% of the people that post on DTG know the difference between "I love D1" and "I was addicted to D1."

The useful info aspect is being removed as the salt mine just keeps building. I use to be able to go and check really good info pieces from Mercules and such but now that stuff doesn’t come around anymore. I wish they would just move on and be done with it.

Your last sentence is so true and I deal with that crap everyday. The number of times I’ve heard the phrase “I just like to party differently...” yea, that is called an addiction.

At 309 base level. Cannot get vendor engrams above 305. Drops have all been 305. Annoyed.


Milestone dropped the new Grenade Launcher at 321 though.

Just got Sweeping, already 10/10 on this dlc

Exotic engram of course turned into the GL again, which dropped at 317. Hurray.

I guess there's a daily cap or a cooldown on how many Public Events you can get loot from now. Last 2 I did only dropped a single token. If that's the case, they really don't want to be generous with drops in this game.

Everything feels way grindier now. I cannot break through the soft caps no matter what I do. Multiple pieces over 320. Everything except cloak and special at 318+. Legendaries won't drop above 307. Disappointing.
