I've tried Busch/Bud/etc and could not stand them, although Bud Light Platinum is pretty smooth. I know the feeling, I'm always looking for new things to try myself.
I like a beer with flavor, smooth is shit to me (with beer). Liquor, smooth with just the taste is the epitome of a perfect booze to me lol. I can't do shit Vodka either, I agree 100% on the rubbing alcohol factor lol. I generally stick to whisky/rum for liquors, if I do vodka it's vodka (cheap to mid) n 7. Wife use to love vodka and she kind of burnt me out on it. I just can't do anything cheap though. Whiskey/rum is different. I like it on the rocks, but I enjoy a shit bottle of $10 whiskey/rum with coke/rootbeer more than a $50 bottle of that shit on the rocks. Vodka is actually one of the only liquors (if it's good) I enjoy drinking straight more than mixed.
