Agreed, glad some people can take me being an asshole as just how I am and not taking it personally.

I'm passionate about football and I try and fend off the hounds when they attempt to group up on me lol

I'm adamant about my responses but I like to keep it strictly football.. I don't resort to name calling and all that other personal nonsense people stoop to when the argument isn't going as they planned.

take in consideration that the giants offense were on the field almost a quarter longer than the pats.

Should we also bring up that the Giants are a run first team and that the Patriots offensive system highly favors Brady in a statistical matchup?

I completely brain farted on that whole point  :bonk:

Just a bit haha.

Even if you ignore stats though, people will remember two plays about that game. 1) Eli's sideline pass to Manningham. 2) Brady's incompletion to Welker that gets blamed much more on Brady than Wes.

Still doesn't change the fact we got dominated by TOP in that game and Eli got pretty much the last drive being 12 plays for like 4 minutes.

Because we run the football.

He outperformed Brady in '07 as well.

TOP isn't as important anymore. There's too many quick strike offenses for it to be the big tell all story it used to be. A lot of teams run no huddle all the time and eliminate the need to keep their offense on the field longer than the opponent. Hell, you even have teams like the Packers that made a modified no huddle for road games where just the line huddled with Rodgers for a few seconds while the skill position guys remained out of the huddle.

It's pretty hard to compare a single game stat line, considering the giants defense was vastly superior both seasons.

A perfect throw for a 5'9" receiver that was behind him causing him to have to do a 360 and lay out as much as he possibly could? Yea?

He was also wide open.

Throw was on Brady not Welker. Welker could catch a ball like that, sure, doesn't change the fact that he made it 10x more difficult for him to catch it.
