I am overly impressed by Boykin, in camp, in games, guy is gonna be a stud.

Before preseason, I would of said Andrews would lead the team in receptions, that’s changed, Boykin 100%.

I can see a 70 catch 1100 yard, double digit td season for this dude.

Honestly I can see a 3500 yard season for Lamar without feeling too much like I’m homering 😂😂

I agree with the overall optimism, but he's too inconsistent right now. He makes some exciting plays and then follows it up with a drop (or multiple drops in game 1).

And yeah, what Adverb said, doubt anyone on this team is getting 1k yards receiving. Even Flacco struggled to make that happen lol.

I mean he could be special in the long run... if he cuts down the drops. Right now he's like a very poor man's Demaryus Thomas.

I was telling Terps about Boykin back in March over PM when talking about WRs in this coming draft. He was somebody I liked and was interested in. Glad to see him showing out so far for you guys.

He was getting thrown catchable balls in games 1 and 3 and dropping them. Doesn't matter who's throwing it—gotta prove you can make those catches before you're given significant snaps.

The homering on Boykin is kind of overblown (mainly referring to other Ravens forums), which is normal and not unexpected, especially considering our dismal history with drafting WRs. However, I think some folks are so focused on the bright spots that they're ignoring the bad drops (at least 3 so far) and the miscommunication that led to an interception in game 2 (not sure if that was on Boykin or Trace). I don't want someone unreliable like that playing meaningful snaps, not yet. That's how you lose games.

I dont remember him having an issue with drops in college. Sad to hear!
