Kaare Vedvik traded to the Vikings for a 5th. Both sides will be quite happy, I think. Vedvik looked good last season and nailed a 55 yarder last week. I think he'll be around for a long time.

Nah. The thing was, he wasn't kicking that well in practice. Just missed a 33-yarder in yesterday's practice. Was very average in practices. Now, he kicked well in one game. But what if he didn't kick well Thursday? They wouldn't get anything. Take the 5th and run.

Yeah, but on the other hand he's been pretty damn good in preseason for a 2nd year in a row (got IR'd last season). He seems to be a good kicker on a rookie salary.

Kickers are worth more these days. There's a shortage in the NFL.

Unlike these nerds I watched the game between the other games it was a good day.

But! Ray and Belicheck were non stop laughing at lamarrs throwing.

They laughed because the completion to Moore might have been meant for the TE. However, an alternate angle showed it was definitely for Moore, and Jamar said it was meant for Moore postgame.

Lamar Jackson looks noticeably improved as a passer though, and reports from TC are that he and the offense as a unit have improved greatly from last year. I mean some of that is just to be expected considering the playbook we used to end the season was cobbled together over the bye week, whereas this offense is designed for Lamar, but even Lamar is exceeding expectations. He's building chemistry with his receivers and TEs, which is something he didn't have the opportunity to do last preseason.
