I don't understand the new jerseys at all. The Game Jersey has a bunch of new lines in the fabric and looks a lot different because of that, yet is the cheapest. The Elite Jersey looks exactly the same as the Reebok ones and is 2.5 times as expensive as the Game. I wish they would have just left them the same across the board, how heavy can a jersey get that it needs to be redesigned with ultralightweight materials...

Check out some of Nike's Dri Fit clothes in a store . You would be suprised how much lighter it exactly is; and how much more " breathable" the fabric is.
I'll admit to Homering Nike products but that's just cuz my sis works for them so I get retarted discounts .
But the Dri fit is seriously good stuff

Is it warmer than the old design? Everything seems like it's made to keep players cooler, which would be kinda stupid for any cold weather team imo.

Dri fit is meant to pull the moisture away from the skin. So you stay dry underneath.
The long sleeve stuff is good for staying warmer. There is different versions of the product. Nike has experience in developing that as they use to
Market it for hockey as the under layer. The Nike Bauer line or Vapor products of you have ever seen them. So they know what they are doing

I know the purpose was to be lighter and dry, I just don't see how big a difference it really makes. I mean, it's not like these guys have much padding on anyway.

I figured they'd have a whole new line of cold gear clothing to go with it, I was just wondering about the actual jerseys themselves.
