Austin Howard
Justin Tuck
LaMarr Woodley
Antonio Smith
Tarrell Brown
James Jones

All good signings.

Hopefully we can get:

Alex Mack
MJD
Charles Woodson
Pat Sims

If we can get 2 or more of those last 4 names, I'll be really happy with our offseason. I really really want Mack.

Hopefully we can draft Manziel or something too. I wouldn't be too opposed to trading for Schaub, but only if it's a 6th or 7th round pick.

Again with the manziel. And u say Bridgewater is a bust but believe in that flop? Lol

Well, we're tooled up to take Manziel at 5.
RIP next 3-5 seasons.

We've finally started to assemble all the other pieces and we've started to patch the holes. Got a WR, got a CB, got some OL. Lost a RB, and lost youth on the defensive front. We've definitely gone back to the Al Davis Raider roots of "Sign Vets, win now", but thankfully we haven't mortgaged our future to do so this time.

If the QB we draft this year is a hit, we could have some success. I expect us to do rather poorly, though--we've got a fucking tough schedule this season. Another high draft pick upcoming, hopefully one we can use to further improve our team after we give up on Manziel in 3 years xD

Not sure why you guys hate him. So he partied as a freshman in college, so what. I've seen the dude play live, and he is a one of a kind talent. We'd be lucky if he fell to us at 5.

I don't find that his style of play translates well to the NFL. I have no character problems with him.

His improvisation will be very useful, he just needs to cut down on some of the throws off the back foot.

He can only make those plays because he has superior athleticism as compared to the competition he faces. In the NFL, he will not have that kind of athletic advantage as everyone will be NFL level, as opposed to the "man against boys" syndrome that seems to bring many college studs crashing to Earth when the enter the pros (Vince Young, Reggie Bush, etc).

In short, his decision making isn't that great (he makes risky throws that work in college but won't work in the pros) and his athleticism won't give him the same edge in NFL as it will in college ball. AKA he's likely going to be a bust.

Manziel has the exact same body and play type, with better college statistics than Russell Wilson. Next?

And how many QBs like that end up being successful in the NFL? Statistically, his odds are not good.

So by your logic we shouldn't draft any quarterback who is a dual threat.
