Yeah, but I don't want a guy who can't be counted on to push back a Guard or Tackle and collapse the pocket every now and then. I think sacks are one of the most overrated stats ever, but if you're not getting pressure on the QB, I don't want to see you on the field.


True, and yeah I was speaking of in a 3-4 DE's are for run stuffers. However I agree, last year was miserable to watch every play and there was never any pressure.

I cringe when I think about it. And also when thinking whether it will get better or not this year.

I know... Considering we NEED a center because we'll have saturday for 2 years and who knows with his age how his body will hold up. So I could see a possible first round pick going straight to Konz or even if on a very very very long shot, Trent Richardson. But I hope to god we pick up a good OLB, maybe 2 or a DE, or even a DT. But blah........ I don't wanna think about the draft, Just can't wait for it though. I'm doing way to much thinking about this and I have no choice in any of this haha.

Im thinking w/ Saturday that a first round center won't happen. Maybe a second or third rounder to groom behind him.

Muir contract is one year, 700k. Will only count as 540k against the cap. Can't complain about that.


Edit - There's also no guaranteed money or signing bonus.
