Ya, I noticed it a couple weeks ago during our games. So after the 6th and 7th games on our cards, i messaged the players on the other teams asking how many wins do they have on their cards. It was 1-3 (answers were confirmed by looking up their destinytracker or trialsreport match history).

Trials of Osiris year 1 was also connection based matchmaking in d1, and later switched to win based matchmaking. Maybe that’ll happen in d2 too

Hit detection is soooooo bad today

So I just had shit ass luck the first time I played lol. After 2 wins in a row, we played against teams of all diamonds, and one team of 1 diamond and 3 top 500s in trials.

Doesn’t translate over. Not only are you playing a different mode but you’re going against teams of 4 every time rather than whoever matchmaking pulls in.

You also did say all 3 of you were running Last Hope, which gives you a MASSIVE advantage in control/IB right now. It's still useful in Trials, but it's not an insta win like it is in IB. Only way to lose with 3x last hopes, is if the other team has 3 or 4 of them. It's a broken gun for this mode, insanely broken, but it's not that broken in trials.

Not to say you guys wouldn’t do well in Trials or you’re bad or anything. It’s just that stomping in casual modes doesn’t translate directly to stomping Trials.

This exactly. I've seen you do well before Sopranos, haven't played with your buddies, but I'm sure they're good too. Pub v Trials are just like completely different games is all.
