West has stone hands. He's good for 3yards and not much else

He's developed a bit since he was with the Browns.

He's not a fluid pass-catcher, but stone-hands is selling him short. He can catch dump-offs.

And he had a 4.0 ypc last season and a 4.2 ypc vs. the Bengals. He's pretty average as a runner. Has good vision, runs with power, has decent balance, gets some yds after contact, doesn't tear off any long runs.

If Yanda is out long-term, it's going to get ugly watching this offense. Like really ugly.

That said, after Yanda went out, at least watching Alex Collins run was a pleasant surprise. The fumble was bad, but at least Harbaugh didn't stick him right in the doghouse after that like he has done many times before (notably Taliaferro).

Also wondering what Terrance West's issue was. He didn't come into the game the 2nd half, iirc.
