So much better tonight

I just want them to nerf last hope. Finished my studying for the night, jumped on, had two different games with 3+ people using last hope and it makes me want to break my controller. It's just fucking impossible to beat a team of kids using it.

Edit : And I refuse to join them. I've broken the thing down 3 times and I'm going to keep breaking it down every single time I get it.

4 games in a row now of 2 or more on the enemy team. I'm going to go insane.

120 tokens so far, I've scored the scout rifle and a pair of IB gloves. I actually do wanna work for a full set of IB armor, even though I think it looks pretty shit. Probably won't happen with the way RNG is treating me, I guess it's payback for only being stuck at 304 for like a day on my hunter.

Just irritating that Bungie never nerfs any weapons that are actually a problem. Same reason I quit last time, ran out of additional content and was mostly playing PvP, incoming broken as fuck weapons that you HAVE to use or you're going to be struggling to go 1.0. Same shit here. You run into a full team or even a team with 2-3 guys using that, and with how small the maps are, and especially with it being control, you're just completely fucked. I've been trying a variety of different short-range weapons on switch when I see lobbies filled with it, and I have yet to find a single gun that can beat it, even if I don't miss a single shot and I know they're not hitting crits, I still get wrecked.

At least it hadn't completely taken over Trials last time I played, but it probably has now. Wouldn't be surprised if 80% of teams were using Mida+Hope, but at least that means they'd get rocked in the mid-game. It is always funny when you get that kid with hope that fucks up and is just a littttle bit out of range and they blow their load and run out of ammo or they just do no damage and you turn and melt them. Just doesn't happen all that often with all the things they put in to close the gaps. My other biggest problem is probably consistent nade damage. I still can't figure out what nades do damage, what their range is and how exactly they work. I've been killed by a single nade being near me, today I got killed by a fire/wall nade that I literally walked across and was full health and died, and I've seen people take trip-mines to the face and do no damage to them. Just not sure how they work exactly.

It depends on the map for trials but Mida+Last Hope wasn’t all that strong the previous two weeks. Etarder and I were able to dominate this past week with auto rifles. Emeperor’s Respite has people attempt to use Last Hope a little more but it wasn’t too difficult to force them to engage out of Last Hope range. I’ve noticed it is more difficult to be annoying with Last Hope in the competitive playlist. Especially with Countdown, it is more difficult to get into that Last Hope range with only a single life to give.
