Just irritating that Bungie never nerfs any weapons that are actually a problem. Same reason I quit last time, ran out of additional content and was mostly playing PvP, incoming broken as fuck weapons that you HAVE to use or you're going to be struggling to go 1.0. Same shit here. You run into a full team or even a team with 2-3 guys using that, and with how small the maps are, and especially with it being control, you're just completely fucked. I've been trying a variety of different short-range weapons on switch when I see lobbies filled with it, and I have yet to find a single gun that can beat it, even if I don't miss a single shot and I know they're not hitting crits, I still get wrecked.
At least it hadn't completely taken over Trials last time I played, but it probably has now. Wouldn't be surprised if 80% of teams were using Mida+Hope, but at least that means they'd get rocked in the mid-game. It is always funny when you get that kid with hope that fucks up and is just a littttle bit out of range and they blow their load and run out of ammo or they just do no damage and you turn and melt them. Just doesn't happen all that often with all the things they put in to close the gaps. My other biggest problem is probably consistent nade damage. I still can't figure out what nades do damage, what their range is and how exactly they work. I've been killed by a single nade being near me, today I got killed by a fire/wall nade that I literally walked across and was full health and died, and I've seen people take trip-mines to the face and do no damage to them. Just not sure how they work exactly.
