Well, we avoided Foster and Robinson, but we passed on Howard, which disappoints me greatly.

Humphrey is an ok pick. He's an ideal outside corner

ESPN Insider material on Humphrey:

Kiper's blurb from his big board:

Quote
14. Marlon Humphrey, CB, Alabama

Previous rank: NR | Watch highlights

A hamstring injury slowed down Humphrey toward the end of the 2016 season, but he's an outstanding prospect with the physical traits of a lockdown corner. He ran a 4.41 40 at the combine at 6-0, 197. Humphrey had three interceptions as a redshirt freshman in 2015 and was a key playmaker for the national champs, and he had two interceptions in 2016, and the first was returned for a touchdown. Humphrey has great bloodlines, too: His father, Bobby, was a big-time running back at Alabama who was picked by the Broncos in the first round of the 1989 supplemental draft.

I've been really high on Zay Jones, ranking him among Ross and Davis and ahead of Williams. He's the player I want more than anyone else for day 2.

Sidney Jones would be a good value pick, although I seriously doubt we go back to back at CB lol.

Lamp is unrealistic to fall, but a no-brainer pick if he's there.

Cam Robinson would be a fine round 2 pick if we don't trade up and if they consider him a LG.

Malik McDowell would be an ideal 5-tech and an immediate upgrade over Urban and Kaufusi, although he's going to have motivation problems like Carl Davis, and he needs a lot of coaching on technique. Typical boom/bust prospect.

I'm really high on Kpassagnon, since he seemed to be a monster for OL to handle when I watched him at the Senior Bowl, he's physically impressive, and he's an ideal 5-tech, which we are very thin at with Urban and Kaufusi. He's probably more of a late 2nd rounder/early 3rd rounder though.

Tyus Bowser is an intriguing rush LB prospect, although I can't say I know much about him because I've never watched him.

If I were to make a mini big board for day 2:

Zay Jones (reminds me of Deandre Hopkins)
Forrest Lamp (probably unrealistic to fall)
Melifonwu (probably going to the Seahawks, but if not, he's an intriguing H/W/S prospect)
Tanoh Kpassagnon (5T DE who needs development, but has a high ceiling)
Tim Williams (Could be a great DPR or a drug suspension bust)
Budda Baker (undersized FS)
JuJu Smith-Schuster (Boldin clone)
Tyus Bowser (ideal rush-LB, needs development, high ceiling)
Carl Lawson (ideal rush-LB with first round talent and extensive injury problems)
Malachi Dupre (I think he's very underrated due to LSU's OC and QB problems, guy gets open and makes tough catches)
Zach Cunningham (ILB who excels in pass coverage but is a bit lightweight to take on blockers)
Jordan Willis (undersized DPR)
Cam Robinson (if they see him as a LG)
Ahkello Witherspoon (good corner with great length)
Sidney Jones (first-round corner before achilles tear)
Kareem Hunt (love his balance and ability to get yards after contact, reminds me of Dixon tbh)
Cooper Kupp (white guy slot receiver with some size)
Pat Elflein (fits our blocking scheme more than Pocic, and we need a C)

I really don't want Wormley unless it's day 3, but he's projected round 2 in many drafts... He's the type of mediocre high-character guy we're stuck on drafting lately.

Also don't want Mixon or Dalvin Cook for character reasons. McDowell I've decided I don't want based on character.

I'm pretty happy with Bowser. I just hope he develops.
