is competitive crucible actually competitive?

i don't much care for pvp in destiny as i prefer it in cod or BF1, but i have to run it for challenges sometimes and in my first two rounds of "competitive" crucible i went like 12-2 and 8-1 with a handful of bomb defuses and a squad wipe without my super and killed people using their supers...

Sort of. There’s an element of skill based matchmaking but priority is connection, so you can get matched with really bad players especially before the game decides on a skill bracket for you.

Given all the bullshit that Crucible is though, I would call the gamemodes more competitive than the quick play list but wouldn’t label it as an actual competitive experience.

I’m actually kinda disappointed that Prestige NFs are becoming easier. I was looking forward to throwing my head at the wall trying to beat 300 Arms Dealer last night. Hopefully the Raid is impossible hard.
