I just don't like his style in our system. He's not horrible, but he's not great either. We need a solid back to take pressure off Flacco to throw them deep balls. I hate how the only time we go deep is on 3rd downs. Take the shot early and have a few plays to try to get the first down
Woodhead is an excellent pass blocker. He compliments our backs pretty well. Don't know if I would have given him that much money (especially with his injury history), but if it pans out we'll have one hell of a three headed monster.

Kinda like the Brandon Carr signing, seems like it's more of a 2 year / $12m deal, not too shabby.
Should still look for a CB before the end of day 2 of the draft, but surely lessens the need.
That was a hell of a signing. It's basically a one year deal with a team option for three more years. A risk free four year deal with an established corner? YES PLEASE. My uncle is a chiefs fan so I followed his career pretty closely, and that was a fucking bargain. His ceiling is a #1 corner (admittedly a few years ago).
We needed a solid CB2, and that's exactly what Carr can be. At this point in his career that role suits him perfectly, and he's the antithetical Jimmy Smith. Dude has played something like 140+ straight games. He's the consistency we need.
Weddle deep + Jefferson in the box/covering TE's + Jimmy following #1's + Carr playing bump and Run + Tavon in the slot????? We just went from a suspect secondary to maybe one of the best in the league. If Webby signs on the cheap as a package deep safety/corner I will fucking cream my jeans.
