Does anybody know if Decosta actually interviewed for any GM positions? I think I heard somewhere that somebody (Niner's?) requested an interview.

I know he's the heir apparent, but it doesn't look like Ozzie is bowing out anytime soon...

It was the Colts, and he declined the interview.

I think he (or his family) is too attached to Baltimore that he'll never leave.

Hopefully, but him sticking around until Ozzie hangs up his GM cleats seems to good to be true.

Honestly, our FO has been missing a ton of picks lately. I'm not saying to clean house or anything, but they do need to do a self-evaluation and start figuring out why they're missing so many picks.

Like, why the hell did we even draft Correa lmao

The Correa pick was awful, and Bronson was too probably. It feels like the recent high picks have been pretty bad (aside from Stanley, he's gonna' be a stud), but Ozzie is still finding good players in the later rounds or as UDFA (Pierce, Tavon Young).

IDK, I think this years draft will tell us a lot. Sometimes the best administrative philosophies go stale after a period of success, and the Harbaugh/Newsome era certainly qualifies.

I'm really liking Cooper kupp as a possession guy. Weak receiver class though so I'd don't know if he'd be around for us in the 2nd.

Would also love us to take Desmond king in round three and move him to safety.
