Also, regarding the paper you plan to self-plagiarize, make sure you 1) open up a fresh new document file, 2) copy/paste the text from your old doc into the new one, and 3) make sure you leave it open/spend enough hours "working" on it to make it seem legit.
Most documents (namely MS Word) save info about the author, creation date, time spent on document, and other details that would make it obvious when it was written, and therefore obvious that it's an old paper. Of course, if you're just sending your prof. a hard copy, then disregard this.


Yeah I did hard copy ofc. Only thing I had to do was go over it, change works cited to diff dates.

That's actually really good to know tho. Do ya know if drive does similar things ?

Not really sure about other file types. I was learning about how to catch plagiarism today and just know that it's possible to look up on certain documents.

well I'll keep that in mind from now on and only give hard copies/copy pastas.
