I don't like that it's a hard disk drive. SSD > But I do like Asus. If you're getting it for gaming, I'd prefer a desktop every time. My Asus has lasted for 8 years so far. I'm probably going to get a dell xps either Black Friday/Monday, or if I don't see one I want on sale, wait until January when they get the intel i7 6600u processor available, which they don't currently sell.


Also, regarding the paper you plan to self-plagiarize, make sure you 1) open up a fresh new document file, 2) copy/paste the text from your old doc into the new one, and 3) make sure you leave it open/spend enough hours "working" on it to make it seem legit.
Most documents (namely MS Word) save info about the author, creation date, time spent on document, and other details that would make it obvious when it was written, and therefore obvious that it's an old paper. Of course, if you're just sending your prof. a hard copy, then disregard this.
