Gotta disagree on the Pryor thing. He's a good scrambler but when it comes time to throw he's shit. Weak arm inaccurate. Imo mcgloin>

Either way I think both could use another year to show what they got.

If we draft manziel ill slit

McGloin was drafted as a safe, pocket QB and IMO didn't look much better than Pryor when it came to throwing the ball, if at all better. He showed the same strengths and weaknesses every week.

Pryor, on the other hand, showed improvement for the first few weeks until his concussion. He has a knack for making plays, and he was the big reason we were near .500 for the first few games this season. But the biggest selling point for me was watching him learn and improve. Week 1 he made some bad throws deep in enemy territory. Week 2 and 3? Much more conservative with the ball when in that area. He struggled with some other issues week 2, and I saw him improve upon those in week 3. I don't recall offhand what they were but I think I posted about them someplace in this thread.

Pryor's ability to show improvement from week to week is what had me really excited about him. I'm not big on scrambling QBs, but he's shown great attitude, great composure, and an ability to improve. I think that anyone with those qualities deserves a spot on this roster.

Idk I see him as a Vick from his young days. Great scramble weak passing ability. Take what u can get for him and develop mcgloin or go a new route and shoot for Bridgewater. But Pryor isn't the answer

Vick's weakness wasn't his passing, it was his decision making. He's like Favre in that he wasn't safe with the football...but he's won a LOT of games in his career and he's brought a LOT of teams to the playoffs. I'd gladly take the next Michael Vick right now.

Also, Vick has a cannon arm...had one of the strongest in the NFL back in his prime.

He didn't have elite accuracy, but his accuracy was far from poor. He had enough touch to make a lot of hard throws, was really effective with the deep ball, and totally changed the way defenses approached the Falcons. Vick never reached the Superbowl, but that's true of a lot of good QBs. Rivers and Luck are both excellent QBs but neither has made it to the Superbowl.

Pryor has shown himself to be respectful and able to improve. McGloin hasn't shown himself to be anything, really. He had a few good weeks but for the most part he struggled, and he doesn't bring the same second dimension that Pryor does. If you're looking at two mediocre passers, but one has the ability to make plays with his legs, the decision should be obvious as to which player is better for your team.

Yea but all I see coming out of a qb that relies on his scramble is injuries with this team and more disappointment. He's gonna be a dmc. Get what u can by trading him and go with mcgloin

I am okay with this. He's better than he played last season, IMO.
