If Fisher slips to 5 then fisher
if not Milliner
than 2nd round get Tank imo

I'm praying Tank falls to us in the second

But Milliner @ 5? nty. Not a playmaker. Stonehands. 5 surgeries. Never backpedaled in college. Yeah he's good, but CB is very deep this year, plus we drafted 3 last year

I hear that the doctors say he's perfect, so did Tim Twentymen or whatever,
If not Milliner who do you want?

Naw fuck trading up. If anything we should trade down, cause we can still get a pass rusher or one of the elite guards later, while picking up more guys.

It's probably down to Dion, Ziggy, Dee, and Lane. Unless Fisher slips to 5

Fisher/joeckel aren't like any of the other OT's in this draft. We'd honestly prob only have to sacrifice a 4th rounder to swap with the raiders @ 3rd overall. Well worth it to get an elite tackle to protect staffords blind spot IMO. We can grab a pass rusher/corner in the 2nd round.

1a: Fisher
1b: Joeckel
2a: Ziggy my niggy
2b: Dion Jordan
3: Trade down for more picks (to the 9-15 range)

I understand that. But our 4th round pick this year is compensatory, and therefore we can't trade it. So it would likely have to be our 3rd round pick. Fck that.

I feel like Ziggy would work with our D better, him suh and fairley - gg
I prefer ziggy > than Dion, but both would be awesome
I would like Milliner - Quin - Houston combo
then Tank hopefully to the second cause the DE class is deep this year imo.

We coached him at the senior bowl, our coaches love him. I think Ziggy could be one of the best defensive players in the league in a couple years of being coached. He's an absolute FREAK
Dion would work well on the pass rush, which we need, but hes not big enough yet. Run D needs to improve.
Yeah Milliner, Houston, Delmas, Quin would be the first solid secondary in Lions history lol, but the CB class is so deep.
DE class is extremely deep as well, which is good for us because our needs have tons of depth in this years class

Cant forget that we also need a vertical threat opposite Calvin. If a Justin Hunter fell to us in the 2nd, I wouldnt be mad with taking him (WR again!??! Yes, I know, but it's necessary)

True that, Yeah I can agree with your picks,
I feel though we aren't in THAT much of need of a guy opposite of Calvin, Burleson coming back and Broyles as well.
so if Ziggy gets taken in first round and Hunter is out, who do you want for the second round?

We really are though. Burleson and Broyles are more serviceable in the slot than outside, Broyles moreso than Nate. If we have a vertical threat to take coverage away from Calvin, WITH Reggie in the backfield, and Broyles in the slot, there is no way opposing defenses could stop us. Even if we dont have a defense, we'd put up 50 points every game.

My IDEAL scenario: We trade down with the Dolphins, Chargers, or other mid-high round team that is looking to nab Lane Johnson, and Dion Jordan or Ziggy falls to us. Wouldn't be upset with Mingo either. In trading down, we pick up an additional 2nd or 3rd round pick. So we address one defensive end, we probably need to get two within the first 4 rounds.

2nd round: Look for value. Did Cordarrelle fall out of the first round? Justin Hunter? Look for players that have fallen. Or we could address OT here. Justin Pugh from Syracuse can play G or T, which our staff seems to like
