In no other context can a robber set up shop in his own place and invite people to his turf KNOWING that they're carrying hundreds, even thousands of dollars in cash.

I'm not even knocking CL like these other kids. Back when I bought, fixed, and sold cars, I would buy an average of 1 car per month during the summer through CL. But I didn't go there without protection either. You show up to some shady place to buy a car worth several thousand, you had best go prepared and make sure no one is in position to jump you. Just common sense.

You would be naive to ignore the inherent risk in showing up to someone's turf with several thousand in cash and not think there is an increased risk of being robbed. The robber knows you're coming to him loaded--much more efficient than just robbing random people who might not even have a wallet on them.
