Deej made a comment that the best end game rewards he makes playing games is long lasting friendship. He prefaced the comment about being able to sit down and have a drink with a friend he met 11 years ago via Halo. The comment is true in that our best rewards from destiny are the friends and memories but the timing was really bad so they flipped out.

I mean, one of my most treasured Destiny moments was when Sean had the relic in VoG and kept knocking you off that platform and all of us trying to dodge him from killing us. It was such a hilarious moment that I will never forget and it had nothing to do with whether I was going to get a new gun...

DTG is typical Reddit with one exception - they’re up their own ass about how great of a community they are.

I’ve not ventured to any other Reddit except for smite so I don’t have enough exposure to comment on it as a while but the last comment is accurate and priceless.

... so just like the rest of reddit.

It was anecdotal and a personal story, so the comment itself wasn't the issue. People just got mad that it came during the weekly update in the midst of a early onset content drought where deej represents the developers.

I'm not in the rage camp but I definitely wish there was something to grind for. 4v4 ib with no power and a prestige mode with no new mechanics isn't quite it, either.
