Fuck no, not unless it came with a legit long-term warranty from the manufacturer and was being sold by a reputable company.

You have no way of knowing if it's really refurbished or just something someone returned because it's malfunctioning. Plus you have no way of knowing what the previous owner did to it--it could have malware on there that you don't know about while still seeming new.

Don't mess around with such a large investment. Buy it new.

The problem /w CL is that people can jump you, pull a gun, or whatever because they KNOW you've got a lot of cash on you. You come out to THEIR TURF thinking you're just going to make an easy trade, but holding all that cash, you're fucked if anything goes awry.

Best to meet in a pubic place if possible, and bring a friend who can back you up if the shit goes down. And make sure you've each got a piece, of course. Anyone who doesn't go in planning for if they get jumped deserves what they get.

They can do that anywhere. Don't get the whole point of trying to ostracize CL because of a few incidents.
