Would the i7 processor use more energy and hurt battery life compared to an i5?

I'm torn between wanting like the very best model /w the i7, 16gb ram, 512 gb ssd, 4k display... and one that is cheaper but still fits my needs.

My philosophy is that I use my laptop like 6 hours per day on average (that's probably a gross overestimation), and I've had this one since 2008, so I might as well get a damn good one if I'm buying it.

I'm not even sure how I would go about purchasing prescription drugs illegally, but if I knew how, I would start with some Adderall for the end of semester crunch.

I bought some Adderall in 10th grade. Traded some pot brownie squares for 2 of them. But I don't talk to that person anymore.

I asked my doctor kind of bluntly if he could just prescribe me Adderall, but he said I'd have to talk to a psychologist to get a prescription, hinting that I should play up my disability as a sort of distraction. But I'm too lazy to do all that for some drugs that I don't really need.



I don't really know people well enough to ask. My friendships on campus are inherently shallow because I commute to campus from 90 mins away
