What a game fellas.

What I took out of the game:
  • Doug Martin fucking sucks, let Rainey be the starting RB and let Martin back HIM up
  • Vincent Jackson has butter fingers, but god damn in the clutch, he's gold.
  • Glennon should have started from week 1, not saying we'd be 3-1 but we probably would be 2-2 (rams and today)
  • Lovie actually learned, despite the fact we gave up some 3rd and longs, he played a bit more press. Still Frazier needs to stop being conservative and actually BLITZ some times.
  • I'm in love with the Evans pick.
  • EDS shaped his ass up, and Collins needs to get his shit together.
  • Dane Fletcher is a liablity, and Mason Foster needs to return soon.
  • I can't really forgive EDS for all the delay calls, but he wasn't called for any holding/personal foul calls like he was Thursday night.
  • Conor who? Patrick Murray will be gold, the 50 yard field goal I believe was tipped slightly but he still got it through.

also, lets take this into consideration:

the NFC South looks like a god damn joke right now, this honestly could be anyones division.

Learn to football - Rainey better than Martin? Dont be so stupid. Rainey doesnt hit as hard and fumbles more often than not - fumbles which have already cost us this year

Martin looked like shit running, but was decent on the check downs today, Rainey is the better runner.
Glennon needs people to catch the damn ball.
Refs played a huge factor in the Saints comeback, jesus 15 penalties.... that's almost unheard of.
Take away the penalties, the fucking defense was to aggressive and let the short plays become big plays.
Sloppy tackling and again I say Dane Fletcher is a liability.
Lansaneh is looking good.

I agree and one thing I think Martin lacks which seemed to not be a factor during his 2012 year is his vision. He really seems to lack vision and a lot of times hits the wrong hole and doesn't seem the openings as well as Rainey BUT Rainey is a liability because of his fumbles. I say we try out Mike James hes a fucking bowling ball.

Yes hpefully we get Mason back soon Dane fletcher is just bad. Fuck I say we put Lansanah at MLB and put Dane as strong side Lansanah seems to really be playing well since the preseason and has made some great plays.

Once we get the pieces to run a proper T2.
Until then we're the Oakland Raiders of the NFC

I'm wondering why Mike James hasn't been featured as much

My honest take on the game:

- Doug Martin should be used in passing downs, he did much better blocking and did excellent receiving.

- Glennon is improving, making only 1 bad decision. He should get the remainder of the season.

- We have to stop be a 2nd half team, 2nd week in a row we decided to show up in the 2nd half.

- Defense did excellent the 1st 3 quarters, hopefully they know now that the NFL is 4 quarters.

- Verner looked much better in coverage, but did give up some plays.

I have more I'm just to tired to type them all out.

This team really, really sucks.

Flacco looked like a fucking god out there. His TDs were all from like 15+ yards, the coverage was pure shit. Couldn't stop the run, offense was even worse than the defense. Fuck this team.

I think it's a look at Lovie's outdated tampa 2, mixed with his unwillingness to change the way he runs his defense.

If he had watched the Colts game at all, he would know to press our receivers at the line instead of giving them zone coverage. In addition, he should have blitzed the left side mercilessly, considering we're starting a rookie UDFA at LT and a rookie 5th rounder at LG. He didn't attack our weaknesses.

Apparently they are shopping Doug Martin? Probably gonna get a fourth or fifth for him, I imagine.

Kickoff in 20.
