There's the mini, which is a legendary SMG you get from a quest that's the lvl of power gear (10 or more from what your current lvl is,you get this when you finish all the Earth quests) and then once you finish that, you get an item in your primary weapon slot that tells you to do stuff. Once you complete everything it says, you get an exotic weapon. Mida Multi-Tool, the most used weapon in Trials right now, it's amazing. This is an exotic weapon quest and it'll be 10+ levels higher than the lvl you get it at.

Hopefully we can get 1-2 more and actually run either some Trials. It's chill if we end up pubbing, but I'd like to trial a bit.

it's the quest line at the EDZ where you get the best PVP Scout rifle, being the midatool. if you've played pvp, it's the stupid noise you hear constantly, like a staple gun or some shit. 4 head shots = a kill.

how is the mida multi-tool in terms of PVM is my biggest question? i seem to play best with auto rifles, particularly the origin story and uriels gift are my kinetic/energy for pvm

It's a nasty gun and it's used by at least 50% of people in Trials lol.

I use it ofc for Trials and Comp.

Edit : You should try to finish that quest before we do trials. You NEED a good scout rifle, or pulse rifle to do well in Trials right now. It's just what the meta is.


I was looking through the games when I played with Crash, Mangina and one of Man's friends. We played a team of guys that were all top 100 in the world for Trials. I called out during the match that they were the best we played, but I didn't expect them to be that high. It was dirty though, usually in Trials I get raped by team shots. it's rare I get smoked in 1 v1 situation, but those kids could even consistently slap me 1v1 without much difficulty. I got a couple good kills, but we got smoked hard by them.

About to go start those quests now. Its the blue banner looking one right? All of the planets have this too? Is it a 1 time thing so I should wait til 290 or can I do it multiple times?

As for trails, I think I would like to try one to see how we get raped and use that as practice for when we run pubs to know what to improve on.

Spread them out. Do one now, do another planet when you're 280-285, then do the last one when you're like 290 or 295. You can make another character and do all 3 of them again.



I'll see if I can find it, this was like a week or so ago that I was curious and randomly looked it up. All the talk of trials had me remembering.

DOesn't look like it'll let me go back that far. Slight exaggeration, but 3 of them were top 100, and the last guy was Diamond I think, but he had hardly any games played. They all had like 5 or 6 kds in social and 3-4 kds in trials


I finished with a 1.3 Kd, and 1.5 Kda, not too bad considering how fucking savagely we got raped on a few of those games lol :P. It won't let me view the actual games though and who we played anymore. I'll try to check on Mangina since I think he plays less pvp than us, it might be there on his profile.

Ok. I believe I am at 273 right now so hopefully this will bump me up pretty solid.

I'm not a big fan of scout rifles though. I do much better with auto

Trials is only one map and it's a very large map. I run a scout + AR. Just trust me, you'll need the range to do well, you'll need to be team shooting, which means using a scout.

Generally speaking, when one gun is overused this much, it's for a damn good reason. You can go off meta, but you will struggle significantly more than you need to. We'll just have to get you accustomed to using it in pubs first.

Damn, best single game kills is 44, most precision is 22 in one game. Not bad lol.

My best weapon right now is a scout so I'll start using it more to practice

Just grind out that exotic quest and get MIDA man, they all shoot different and no point getting use to one you won't use .
